Today, Kudzu Antiques + Modern operates out of a beautiful 26,000 sq. ft. location in Decatur, with its elegant sister store, Kudzu and Company, located in Sandy Springs. In addition to new furniture and great local dealers, Kudzu imports containers of fabulous finds from around the world, creating an eclectic mix of old and new that is unique in the marketplace.

Equal parts utility and charm. This vintage dry sink is a classic and could complete any room in the home.
Okay, but why is it called a dry sink??? Prior to indoor plumbing, many homes had a dry sink with a wash basin and pitcher where things like dishes and vegetables were washed. The counter surface is most often soapstone or zinc to protect the piece from water damage. While we are big fans of modern plumbing, we love the utility this piece still offers. We can picture kitchen pantry storage, a covered porch gardening station, or perhaps a different take on a nursery changing table. So many possibilities!
